My work is based on the scientific foundation that every person (including you!) is at all times functioning at peak capacity, whatever that capacity may be at any given moment. For instance, if you have to take a test and you were able to study a lot and got a good night’s sleep the night before (enhancing factors), your capacity will most likely be higher than if you had been sick and unable to study, and you tossed and turned and woke up exhausted (limiting factors).

Or perhaps you have dyslexia, or depression, or ADHD, or you live in a stressful and contentious or even abusive family, or any of the thousands of other limiting factors people struggle with. Your capacity may not be what you expect or want it to be, or what others expect it to be, and you may think you “should” be doing better, and maybe you try to browbeat yourself into improving.
But in recognizing and accepting the fact that we function at peak capacity (as determined by limiting or enhancing factors), at all times, we experience the liberation that comes with self-acceptance. When we judge and criticize ourselves, we block our ability to do better; when we accept who and where we are in the moment, we make it possible to move forward.
I graduated from the masters program at the California Institute Of Integral Studies in 1997 and worked in many community mental health settings and schools before starting my own private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. After moving to Ohio in 2020, I added licensing in Ohio and Wisconsin and now work virtually with clients from all three states (CA, OH, WI).
My practice is solely virtual/telehealth. I do not offer in-person sessions.
Note: My practice is solely virtual/telehealth. I do not offer in-person sessions.
With loving kindness, I invite the whole of who you are to walk the path of transformation and enlightenment. It takes courage to walk this path, and I will help you find your courage every step of the way. Together we will bring forward the strong, healthy, beautiful parts of yourself that have been waiting to bloom.
